Submissions and Rules - IMPORTANT TO READ

It seems there has been some confusion as to what goes where. I don't know about any of the other adimins, but it's a little tiresome saying the same things over and over like "Mixed media is not a photo dump, please resubmit to _______" Please, read our rules, it explains EVERYTHING and what belongs in each folder. A short description of every folder is even on the front page. Please take a look. And...

NO. We will NOT be splitting up digital and traditional art. It belongs in Colored, unless it has words that isn't related to the Artist's signature, then it belongs in Mixed Media.

• Art must be submitted to the correct folder, or it will be declined.
• If your art is for mature members only, make sure that it is tagged, or it will be declined and possibly reported depending on the mood of the founder/co-founders
• Do not submit stolen artwork, you will be reported.
• If you're doing a collaboration, and have colored someone else's line art, please make sure the artist is linked using either :devTheirUsernameHere: or :iconTheirUsernameHere: with the thumb also in the artist comments. Thumb Tutorial
• Comments must be mature, which means, please no childish cussing and swearing.
• If you don't have anything nice to say to someone, please don't say it at all.
• Have fun! We're not here to ring your neck or force you to do anything, we want you to have fun with our group.

Featured
• The Featured folder is only for those deviations which have won contests. If you want to have art in the Featured folder, please join our contests. You just might win!
Contest Folder
• Our current Contest Entries can ONLY be found here. On the deviation, the artist comments must contain a link to the group's main page either using :devUnited--Art: or :iconUnited--Art: as well as a link to the blog announcing the contest. You only get one Contest Entry a month, and you can't take it back, so choose wisely!
3D Art
• This folder is for 3D art that you made (possibly with some help).
Chapters and Stories
• This folder is for fictional chapters and stories that you have written.
Poems and Songs
• This folder is for any poems and songs that you have written.
Other Literature
• This folder is for prose works that are non-fiction, it can include things like inspirational journals, or things you had to write for school like a research paper of some sort. Don't just dump stories here, they'll be denied.
Photography
• Photography that either you took, or photography that was taken of you belongs here. The only photomanipulation that should be in this folder is if you turned the photo from color to black and white.
Photomanipulation
• This folder includes any photomanipulation that is more than turning the WHOLE photo black and white. If most of the photo is turned black and white and one section is still in color, it belongs in this folder.
Interactive
• This folder is for anything that other artists can use, this includes stock images, icons, stamps, tutorials, and interactive animations (such as games or flash stories).
Mixed Media
• Your art has writing AND pictures? Oh dear! Well this is the place to put it. Ref pictures also belong here.
Colored
• Any Art, other than photography, that you have made, that doesn't include words (other than your signature) belongs in this folder.
Monotone
• This folder is for your art that goes from black to white, or art that has a gradient of one color. A black and white piece with one spot of color can also go here, but the color must not be more than 50% of the deviation in this case.
Motivational Posters
• This folder is for (de)motivational posters only.
WIP
• This wonderful folder is for all the art that you're still working on. This can include half finished drawings, color jobs, and even line art if you want, just make sure it's your own work!
Mature Content
• Everyone has a few mature content pieces that they want to show off, just make sure the mature content tag is on before you submit!
